Xiao Guo told us that she registered an account with e-CNY APP in Guangzhou before and chose to pay the taxes generated in Shixing country using China’s digital yuan after completing tax declaration. The payment is finished in less than two minutes. The convenience of China’s digital yuan in tax payment won approval and praise from taxpayers.

Issued by The People's Bank of China, China’s digital yuan is positioned as legal tender. The transfer does not need to go through a third-party and has the advantages of convenience, risk-free and no service charge. As a supplement to the existing tax payment channels, China’s digital yuan is of great significance in promoting smart tax services and optimizing business environment.

Since the beginning of this year, Shaoguan Municipal Tax Service have, by relying on the "dual-track operation" consulting and tutoring mode highlighting "online and offline services", and by introducing means of "face-to-face" on-site tax payment tutoring, interactive platform for tax collection and payment, public consulting hotline of 0751-12366 and 0751-8812366, and prompt messages of the electronic taxation bureau, vigorously publicized and promoted the new channel for tax payment in China’s digital yuan. Meanwhile, carrying out the publicity campaign of "point-to-point" and "point-to-area" by precisely contacting small low-profit enterprises, starting business and other key groups, Shaoguan Municipal Tax Service has worked hard to offer more efficient, convenient and secure tax services for taxpayers.

The official of Shaoguan Municipal Tax Service said that in the next stage, Shaoguan tax authority will improve the accuracy, practicability and convenience of tax payment services and build an environment that enable more taxpayers to know and use China’s digital yuan in tax payment, to enjoy fast and efficient tax services, and to constantly improve the satisfaction of taxpayers. In addition, Shaoguan tax authority will further improve the applicative scenarios of interactive tax collection and payment, promote China’s digital yuan to apply into online service platforms such as the electronic taxation bureau, “Yue Shui Tong”, self-service tax terminals, bank terminals of inquiry and payment, tax POS machines and other channels, and build an applicative scenario for China’s digital yuan in tax payment covering all channels, all operating institutions and all types of taxes and fees.
