A briefing on TaxExpress Treaties was held in Beijing by tax authorities of China government. This briefing aimed to help Chinese enterprises raise their understanding about the content of the TaxExpress Treaty as they are going to invest or operate business in Africa. It also gives a support for these cross-border taxpayers in improving the tax certainty in their investment and operation.
“TaxExpress”, a brand new service for higher level of the open-up, was launched by the State Taxation Administration of China this year. The TaxExpress could be briefly seen as information express, policy express and service express. This meeting stressed how the policy express meets the needs of cross-border taxpayers when complying tax laws and regulations oversea.
Following the guideline of the State Taxation Administration, local tax authorities have delivered a series of services of the TaxExpress. In the briefing meeting, Beijing tax authority launched a package of services to help taxpayers eliminate double taxation and reduce the risks of cross-border investment.
Since the launch of TaxExpress, China’s tax authorities have persisted in meeting the taxpayers’ needs, and provided innovate tax administration measures for cross-border taxpayers with higher-quality, more efficient, and more convenient global tax services, according to an senior official of the State Taxation Administration of China.
